My Current Favorite Beauty Products

Finding a moisturizer for my face that does not make my face oily has been a challenge. I naturally have oily skin and the ones that  I’ve used in the past did not do much for my face. I found that my face would get super oily throughout the day and especially when I wore makeup. A few weeks ago my cousin introduced me to the Reversa Mattifying moisturizer. I noticed the difference in my skin the first day that I used it. It did not make my face oily at all. Even with makeup, my face, especially my nose and forehead was not as oily as before. The moisturizer is also great for people who have acne-prone skin. The product is very lightweight and you only need to apply a small amount. The bottle is a bit smaller then I would like and a bit more expensive ($29CN) than some of the other moisturizers that I have used but it is so worth it. The moisturizer and their other products are 100% vegan and paraben-free. You can purchase it at any Shoppers Drugmart, Jean Coutu (if you live in Quebec), or on the brand’s website, reversa.ca.

Another product that I have been obsessed with is the Karma Organics Soybean Lavender nail polish remover. The great thing about this nail polish remover is that it does not leave your nails dry, unlike other nail polish removers.  It leaves your nails moisturized, softens your cuticles, and strengthens your nails. It is 100% natural, vegan, non-toxic, and acetone-free. It does not have an overpowering smell and the best part is you only need one cotton ball to remove your nail polish. For a 4oz bottle, it costs roughly $17 Canadian which is a bit pricey but it lasts a long time. You can purchase it on Amazon or on their website, karmaorganicspa.com but heir prices are in US dollars.

The last product also comes from Karma Organics. The brand carries a great range of halal/water permissible nail polishes. Their nail polishes are non-toxic, free of TPHP, and are '7 free’ which means they do not contain toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalate), camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, and/or parabens. The polishes also last a long time and do not chip easily. They are also sold on Amazon for around $14 Canadian.

I hope you enjoy this short of list products. If you have any products, especially non-toxic ones that you have tried and that are good please mention them in the comment section and I will check them out.
